Polyphia in MNL! (Scott and Tim)

Hi everyone! As you can see... I'm blogging often now! lol Anyway, I went to Polyphia's Ibanez 2017 Guitar clinic tour in Asia last May 24, 2017 at Cowboy Grill, Quezon City. It was a really awesome experience seeing them perform live and also talked about how they started playing the guitar & shared some tips to improve on guitar playing.

GUIDE: to your first Comic Con!

Hi everyone! I'm sure you have read the title of this post and of course now you have an idea on what I'm about to share to you. Okay then, Vegas.com sent me an email and inspired me to make this blog post (and guide) for first-time Comic con attendees. I am very grateful because I really love attending comic cons and sharing my experience to everyone.   

They also told me that Amazing! Las Vegas Comic Con will be held next month on June 23-25, 2017 at Las Vegas Convention Center (link here: https://www.amazingcomiccon.com/about ) Awesome guests will be there like Stan Lee, Todd Mcfarlane, Adam West, Burt Ward and many more. Also loads of fun activities and exhibits. If you're from Vegas or willing to fly to Vegas, go ahead and attend Amazing! Las Vegas Comic Con.

Is it your first-time to attend a comic con (well even if you're a seasoned attendee)?... this guide is for you!

Of course, every comic con attendee always has that feeling of excitement when the day of comic con is near!

Even though this is like a year ago, I love looking back to good memories I had in Dubai when I attended my first MEFCC. Also thankful for the opportunity of assisting the famous cosplayer Ms. Alodia Gosiengfiao during her time at MEFCC. So here it is Part 2 of MEFCC 2016 highlights. ENJOY! :) 

I am excited for this year's Asia Pop Comic Con 2017 here in Manila! I'm totally going to blog about it and maybe I'll vlog about it too! hmmm... lol

SWITCHFOOT in MNL 2017

Long time no blog post... :( I am really not good with keeping my blog up to date because of #adultlife. Anyways, I watched Switchfoot LIVE for free last month so I compiled clips from their concert. I was so happy that day because it was my first time to watch them play live but I'm a huge fan of Switchfoot ever since I was in highschool. It was really an amazing experience! Are you a Switchfoot fan too? Then you need to watch this! :)

and I'm going to do my best to update my blog! I really have neglected it for quite some time.

REVIEW TIME: Hello Kitty x Colourpop - Hello Pretty Set

It's time for another product review! :) I felt guilty for not blogging for these past few months... I was so busy because of work. There are times that I don't have any energy to make a blog post... and then the holidays came... :( but now I have some spare time to write a review about what I got from the collaboration of Hello Kitty and Colourpop! Yay! :D

I got this Eco Tools Makeup brushes last month and I loved it! The price is not that bad for a vegan type of makeup brush set. This is not actually my first makeup brush set. I bought a mini set of makeup brushes at F21 before and it's not that bad.

REVIEW TIME! Aprilskin Magic Snow Cushion 2.0

Hi yah everyone! :) I recently bought Aprilskin Magic Snow Cushion 2.0 because I saw video ad about it then I found an online shop based here in PH that sells it.

Aprilskin claims to be the hottest brand in Korea 
and their products are made of natural ingredients for a healthy and beautiful skin.

So a quick introduction about the product! You can watch the videos below.

It's quite convincing right?? :o So I immediately bought one and the good thing is I bought it for a discounted price of 975php(reg. price 1300php)

COVERAGE:

- I am very convinced how it is easy to apply and blend on my skin but I'm not a fan of a dewy look. :/

PROS

- true to how it was advertised.

- doesn't have a weird smell.

- I love how light-weight the compact, 

so I can fit it inside my lil' makeup pouch.

CONS

- My skin type is combination so... this is not the perfect cushion for me. 

The product was so hyped so I kinda bought it impulsively. LOL

- I first tried applying it on top of my usual BB cream... 

the result was disastrous! After a few hours it 

became cakey and my pores were visible and looks really bad.

- Then second I tried applying Shiseido Baby Pressed Powder

 on top of it and... it looks so baaad after a few hours! 

I guess I need a better finishing powder for this one 

or it is better not to apply anything on top of it.

- I tried applying it without any other products... 

still it became cakey and very oily after a few hours.

FINAL COMMENTS:

Well... I know it's not for my skin type! LOL Daang advertisements... :p but all in all it's a really good product for people that has dry skin and also people who lives in a country that has winter season. I do not recommend it if you live here in PH because it gets so oily after a few hours or maybe it's just me because I have combination skin type. 

IMPORTANT TIP! I suggest that you have a really good skin care regimen because it is really difficult to apply if you do not take good care of your skin. Notice the Korean ladies who were in the video they almost have a really good smooth skin despite of the acne(you can't really have a perfect skin y'know). I really emphasized the word "good" lol! jk

If you have Oily/Combination skin they have a matte version of the cushion...

I might buy the fixing cushion soon so I'll try it for myself 

if it's good enough for my skin type.

Anyway it is still your decision whether you want to buy the product or not

 but I hope this review will help you decide. :)

#tbt Middle East Film and Comic Con 2016 preview - pt. 1 -

Long time... no blogging! :( I haven't updated my blog for more than a year now. I just had so many things going on in my life for the past year and I don't have any time to do blogging... So anyway I decided to make a video of the highlights about my experience from my first Comic Con in Dubai! KINOKUNIYA!

All of the otaku, geeky and bookworm stuff are probably there.

Kinokuniya is a Japanese bookstore chain operated by Kinokuniya Company Ltd. (株式会社紀伊國屋書店 Kabushiki-gaisha Kinokuniya Shoten), founded in 1927, with its first store located in Shinjuku, Tokyo. It means "Store of Kii Province".(from Wikipedia)

The first Kinokuniya store I visited was in Singapore like 2 years ago, I was super happy because I love art books and they have like a bunch of them at Kinokuniya and also Japanese magazines that are really rare to find in my home country.

On this blog post I will photo spam all of the things that I saw inside Kinokuniya well mostly

the geeky stuff. LOL!
